Meet Vanya Vito-Valkyrie, my second new goldfish from RainGarden. He wears his heart on his sleeve and his initials on his scales:



Vanya is a wakin, a fast, hardy breed closely related to the ancestral carp. V is smart and has already learned to love the feeding wand. He's also quite the stud (lipstick not withstanding)! Immediately upon arrival in their new tank, Vanya got right to work coaxing eggs out of Luna. (This necessitated a name switcheroo, since he was originally slated to be called Veronica Vita-Valkyrie.) It should be great fun to work with this guy!
